Makeover your bathroom with Essential oils

Chemistry

Do you know what's in your products?...
We know what's in ours!

Using essential oils in the bath or shower instead of products with artificial perfumes and fragrances allows one to simultaneously enjoy the topical and aromatic benefits of an essential oil or blend. Your lip balm won't just moisturize your lips, it can boost your immune system and elevate your mood! Your shaving cream won't just provide a smooth surface to run a blade over, it will heal, moisturize and repair damaged skin as well as sooth and cool the irritation that blades can cause! The best part? You know every single ingredient in your product and what it does! No mystery ingredients here!

DIY class suggestions

This class begins with a general intro to essential oils and their purposes with a focus on the essential oils that will be used in the demonstration. The lip balm recipe can executed in 15 minutes, start to finish. Each person can take a lip balm home. Check out labels page to order your labels for this class.

The Intense Lotion Bar recipe can be executed in a one hour class if you start at the beginning, then use the "cooling" time as your opportunity to discuss the oils and their purposes. We highly recommend using silicone molds...they are super easy to remove once cooled.

The shaving cream recipe takes about 30-40 minutes to cool in the fridge. This can be accomplished in a single class but it is recommended, if you want to use this recipe in a class setting, to prepare the base ahead of time and only demonstrate the final whipping stage where you are adding the essential oils.

The sugar/salt scrub is extremely easy to put together and can be done in about 5-10 minutes. This recipe makes a great combination with the lip balm. Both can be completed easily in an hour class.
